JOHN GRANT's profile
Hi John Grant here from the UK now living in Davao City on the Island of Mindanao in the beautiful Philippines. I spent many years in retail from supermarket boy to operations manager, and spent sometime in banking and even a little bit of factory work when things went wrong. I am running a consultancy service here in the Philippines, from helping SMEs to helping expats with getting things done, including helping find accommodation and general enquiries to assist expats and locals. If you cannot find what you want feel free to ask!! I also have a number of revenue generating websites, along with sites just for fun JGRANT8165@YAHOO.CO.UK

Hi John, Thanks for following me. I originally started writing here in Qondo just as a joke, but now I'm realizing that I'm starting to meet interesting people as yourself. I'm beginning to realize that this really can be a good site for networking and meeting like-minded people. I see you're living in Davao. My wife is originally from CDO. I just got back from two months in Cebu. It was a lot of fun. Now my older brother wants to have the expat experience in the Philippines. I'm sure we will be keeping in touch. Cheers, Bud P.S. I've been putting lots of "Learn Tagalog" videos on YouTube these past couple of years. Just Search "Bud Brown Tagalog" on YouTube or Google.
You're very much welcome John! It's been a pleasure reading through your intel.
Hi John, thanks a lot for your note on my site. I also appreciate it. Keep in touch my friend. Best to you... KLAUS
Hi John, I will be doing some traveling and have not figured out quite how to properly take a vacation from Qondio. Maybe there is some setting that facilitates this and if not maybe there should be, but I will be off line for a month or two and will just have to catch everybody when I get back, if possible. It seems my Qondio mail box fills up very fast when I am away just for a day or two, so a couple months will be interesting...take care, Ann
Thanks John. I do understand your not being around much, but I also have the same situation, not a problem but stuff happens, hahaha. I have never been to the Philippines, but I have a friend there who is from Cebu. I would like to visit, but I don't know when, soon I hope. Take care John, Arthur
Hi John, Don't worry about it taking a while to get around all the bases. There is a lot to absorb when starting a new program. I'm still a learner here too.
Thanks for the follow! I'm from the US, though currently in Cebu- I love the Philippines! I can see why you have made this home. Cheers, Dave Sherwin
Hello, Thank you very much for the follow :) All the best, Cheerful Madness!!
Thanks for the follow, John - I've heard many wonderful things about your home of choice. Perhaps one day I'll visit and share a beer with you!
Looking forward to reading your intel! :)
Thanks for the comment John, Its almost 10 p.m. here and I set my coffee maker to brew before I wake. I decided to cut back first before I try to quit. Take Care...
Hope you had a great Easter, I have another Ty Callison up and hope you will enjoy reading it. More to come in this series of Ty then some other characters want to post their latest news from my books. Best regards Peter

Hi John, Thanks for the follow.
Hi There John, thanks for the follow. I see we share a 'retail/operations' connection. Again, thank you I appreciate the connection.
Hi John, Thanks to you and a few other others here at Qondio, I'm encouraged to write another intel. This time it will be based on one of the themes for Feb 2010 * Beauty. Hopefully then I’ll be inspired to continue with other themes that are also close to my heart. The Island of Mindanao in the beautiful Philippines looks like a wonderful place to live and work. And it sounds like your work must be very rewarding too. It's a pleasure to meet you now John and I'll follow you too so as to read your intels. Ally * Alison Lee Cousland
Hi John, Thanks for the follow back. Reg
